Quimtec L.P. was founded in 1989 by Kevin Stolle, and today is one of the largest  distributor in the Central America region.

In the last 20 years Quimtec L.P. has grown rapidly in part by providing technical support to our customers. Our sales force visit our customers, recommend new techniques, processes, innovative products and market trends.

In order to provide our customers with value we reduce their costs along the entire supply chain.  Quimtec L.P. negotiates with our resins producers, steamship lines, warehouses, freight forwarder and insurance companies for the best terms and conditions.

Company

Mr. Stolle is the principle founder and President of Quimtec L.P. He holds a B.S degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of Upper Heyford School in England. He began his international career in 1980 working with Dow Chemical for five years in R & D and Ts & D. He was recruited by Mobil Polymers for their international division in Central America. 4 years later Mr. Stolle was transferred to Muehlstein’s headquarters in Connecticut  as the Director of Engineering Polymers.

1985 he started his entrepreneurial activities in Central America with ventures in restaurants, trucking companies, poultry, fish and metals for foreign markets. In the late 80’s established Quimtec LP which has became one of the largest distributors of resin in Central America.

Mr. Stolle has brought together an excellent team based in San Jose Costa Rica; from chemical engineers to Masters in Business Administration. All Quimtec L.P. Employees have proven expertise in the petrochemical industry.
